Ayurveda advises undergoing Panchakarma at regular intervals to keep the metabolism strong and to get rid of toxins accumulated from time to time in the body and mind. The various therapies in Panchakarma find the way to identify the root cause of the problem and thereby correcting the essential balance of mind, body, and emotions. It is considered extremely effective to go through the process of Panchakarma prior to any rejuvenation treatment, for it cleanses the body, improves the digestion and the metabolic processes of the body and cleanse the channels of circulation to achieve free flow of energy at all levels.
Ayurveda recommends that you do the gentle purification treatments called Panchakarma during the transitions between the seasons, in the fall and the early spring.
